Meet Emma
Emma knows first hand how important support is when you have a child with an illness and spending many long days & nights in hospital. Her daughter Zaylee was one of our beautiful Fight For Connar family members for a short while back in 2019. Thankfully, Zaylee has now been in remission and cancer free for 3 years! So in honor of that milestone, her Mum Emma has decided to give back.
“I am cutting my hair to mark 3yrs of Zaylee being cancer free this year!! I haven’t had my hair cut since Zaylee has been in remission. F4C played a huge part in helping support my family through our journey & many other local families through their journeys as well. To say thank you and to help others, I look forward to raising money to give back to F4C help to support more families.” – Emma
Meet Steph
Steph is a close friend of one of our Fight for Connar members and has seen first hand all of the wonderful memories we make and time we spend helping others and so she decided that she wanted to help too!
“Cancer has had a huge impact on my life, I think everyone knows someone that has walked through a Cancer journey at some stage in life and seeing the impact that dreaded C word has, watching anyone go through treatment, a child especially is beyond heartbreaking and the trials and tribulations it has on their family is incomprehensible. It makes you feel helpless and so when i heard about the great work that F4C do, I knew I wanted to do something to raise money for this local children’s charity, so i too, can help make memories” – Steph
